Isn’t He?

Dr. David L. Cooperrider is the Fairmount Minerals Professor of Social Entrepreneurship at the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University, and a leading thinker in the areas of positive organizational development.  Dr. Cooperrider is also the author of one of my new favorite quotes:

“Human systems develop in the direction of the questions we most deliberately and frequently ask.”

With that in mind let’s ask…

What is God’s will for your business?

Could Jesus’ prayer provide insight?  On earth as in Heaven?

Could the reason Jesus came to earth (“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10) be a clue?

Could the bulk of the content of the gospels be any indication? (Hint: It’s not about church attendance, bible study, or making converts.)

Let’s ask the questions that align with the prayer of Jesus.

How does the Kingdom come…how is God’s will done…on earth…IN MY BUSINESS…as in Heaven?

How can I align the purpose of my business with the purpose of Jesus?

Is my business just for me to have life, and that more abundantly?
